Your next science communication challenge is waiting for you in Japan.
Imagine teaching science communication to biology students of Tsukuba
University in the heart of Tsukuba Science city situated less than an hour
from the centre of Tokyo. You will teach undergraduate, graduate and post
graduate students everything from writing and presenting skills to
scientific thinking and the theories and practices of science communication.
On top of this you will have the opportunity to work on international
assignments and help Tsukuba science researchers communicate their best
work.
If you have a passion for science communication, a sense of adventure and an
ability to work within a vastly different culture then you owe it to

Required
Tertiary degree in biology, medicine or related field
Degree /extensive experience in science communication
Native English Speaker
Useful
Japanese language useful but not necessary

* Resume including summary of academic achievements and any teaching
experience
* Copies of articles or papers published in the last 5 years
* A summary of your science communication activities (1 A4 page)
* Your future educational aspirations and interests (1 A4 page)
* A one A4 page lesson plan for introducing science communication to
first year biology students.
* Two letters of reference sent directly to the Chair of the Graduate
School.
